Donna Marie Fernandes, born on January 12, 1964, in Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was the cherished daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Rita (Inhoff) Fernandes.

A graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Class of 1981, Donna dedicated many years of her career to serving others in the banking industry. She began as a bank teller with Bethlehem Teachers Credit Union and continued her career with First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union. Her friendly smile, caring personality, and genuine kindness made lasting impressions on both her coworkers and the many members she served throughout the years.

Those who knew Donna will remember her as a gracious and caring woman whose presence brought comfort and steadiness to the people around her. She had a gentle spirit, a kind heart, and a way of making others feel seen, welcomed, and appreciated. She enjoyed trying her luck at the casino, listening to country music, and spending time at Musikfest each summer. Donna also loved relaxing at the beach and traveling whenever she had the opportunity. Above all else, she cherished her family and treasured the countless friendships she cultivated throughout her life. Her friends meant the world to her, and she valued each relationship deeply.

Family was at the center of Donna's life, and she treasured the bonds she shared with those closest to her. She is survived by her sister, Deborah Fernandes; her brother, Charles Fernandes, and his wife, Elisa; her loving nephews and niece, Christopher, Edicson (Anita), Luis (Paula), Bryan, and Nicole (Jack); and her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, Lorenzo, Mia, Selena, and Luca. She is also survived by many cousins, including Carole Allen (Steven), Charles Inhoff (Mary), Jeffrey Nicholas, and Alvin Nicholas (Brenda), as well as numerous extended relatives and dear friends. She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 730 W. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday morning from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M., all at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
