Donald "Zeke" C. Staats, 88, of Bath, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his home. He was born on April 14, 1937 in Glen Ridge, N.J. to the late Rebecca Housman, and was raised by the late Amanda Housman-Lentini and Art Lentini, Sr. Zeke worked as a Glass Installer for the Glaziers Union.

Zeke is survived by his son, Donald "Gary" Staats, grandson, Tyler Weaver and his wife Rosemary, and his two great-granddaughters, Nora and Stephanie. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley MacKenzie, and many loving nieces and nephews. Zeke is predeceased by his wife, Cleata E. (Smith) Staats, to whom he was married for 61 years until her passing in 2019, his daughter, Donna M. Weaver who passed in 2012, and brother, Frank "Charlie" Staats who passed in 2011.

He enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and camping with his family for many years. He lived from the East Coast to the West, moving 17 times to be closer to family, wherever they may be. He enjoyed having breakfast with his lifelong friends, Elmer "Burdie" Burd and Lester "Gig" Miller, along with son-in-law Robert "Bob" Weaver on Tuesday mornings, and spending time with special friends, Andrea Neith, and Joe Vicoso.
