He was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas, Joseph, and Robert Seidenberger, and sisters, Pauline Walker, Bernadine Eck, and Joan Thieme. After graduating from Fountain Hill High School, Don honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard, instilling in him a sense of discipline and patriotism that he would carry throughout his life. Don began his teaching career in Fountain Hill first at Stevens School then Fountain Hill High School, where he taught English and also served as a Class Advisor. The rest of Dons professional life was spent within the Bethlehem Area School District, where he was a beloved teacher and administrator. His passion for education and his dedication to teaching were evident in his tireless efforts to provide a supportive and enriching learning environment. He retired with a legacy of inspiring countless students and educators alike. His love story with Doris E. (Heidecker) Seidenberger was one for the ages. Childhood sweethearts, in September, they would have celebrated 69 years of marriage. Don was a man of faith and a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Bethlehem. He cherished the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in fishing, camping, hunting, long walks and spending quality time with his beloved family.
