Dolores Lengyel Obituary Dolores Lengyel, 87, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2024, while in the care of Fellowship Manor in Whitehall. She was the loving wife of the late Lewis J. Lengyel, who passed away on July 5, 2017. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Zrinsky) Flandorffer. Dolores was a beacon of warmth and creativity, known for her kind heart and talented hands. Dolores's commitment to her family was unwavering, and she was a devoted mother to her sons: Jeffrey and Lewis of Nazareth and Joe and his companion Tammy of Ringtown; her grandson Jesse of Clearwater, FL; her brother, Frank Flandorffer of Allentown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Professionally, Dolores worked as a secretary for the Bethlehem Steel, where she was respected for her diligence and professionalism. After her time at Bethlehem Steel, she embraced the role of homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in cooking and crocheting, often crafting her own clothing and various creations with her own label that she generously shared with loved ones. Dolores's creative talents were matched by her taste in music, with a particular fondness for light classical rock. Known for her selflessness, Dolores always put the needs of others before her own, a virtue that endeared her to all.
