Diane Manganiello Obituary Diane E. (Lauri) Manganiello, age 80, a cherished wife, mother, nonna, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on October 31, 2024. Born on March 2, 1944, in Plains, Pennsylvania, Dianes legacy of genuine kindness, optimism and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Dianes life was one defined by enduring commitment, especially to her family and husband of over 59 years, Alfred "Al" Manganiello. A graduate of Plains High School, Diane worked proudly at the RCA Corporation in Mountaintop, PA. After their wedding, Al and Diane moved to Bethlehem and Dianes greatest joy was being a homemaker. She dedicated herself to raising her three children and caring for her grandchildren, creating a welcoming home full of love, comfort, and beauty.
Diane was a woman of strong faith and integrity and was an active member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her daily life and her family takes comfort in the countless ways she helped those in need.
Diane found joy and happiness at her mountain cabin, entertaining family and friends poolside at home, and family vacations at the beach, making memories with her children and grandchildren. You could often find Diane reading, doing crossword puzzles, or on the sidelines cheering on her grandchildren at their various sporting events and activities through the years.
For over 20 years, Diane dedicated her time as a volunteer at St. Lukes Hospital Bethlehem Campus. Her presence at St. Luke's North gym was well-known; she was a popular figure, making numerous friends and always bringing a smile to those around her. Diane's love for shopping was more than a pastime; it was an expression of her zest for life and her love for finding the perfect gifts to brighten the days of her family and friends.
In addition to her loving husband Al, she will be remembered by her son Vince Manganiello and his wife Debbie, her daughter Gina Martens and her husband Carl, and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Manganiello; siblings, sister Deborah Dahlenburg and brother Richard Conta and his wife Marjorie and her grandchildren, Gabrielle and her fianc David, Brandon and his wife Megan, Spencer, Angelina, Francesca, and Isabella, who were the light of her life.
