Denise Amaniera Obituary Denise Ann Amaniera, a beacon of compassion and care in her community, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024, in Easton, PA. Born on August 5, 1965, in Staten Island, NY, Denise spent her life nurturing those around her, both through her work and in her personal life. Denise's early years set the stage for a life full of love and dedication. She was the cherished daughter of the late John and Joyce (Chris) Amaniera, who instilled in her the values of kindness and service that would define her. Her siblings, Deborah Rodriguez and her husband George, Theodore Amaniera and his wife Tracy, and Brian Amaniera and his wife Lori, shared in the joys and challenges of growing up together, creating an unbreakable familial bond that Denise carried throughout her life. Education was a priority for Denise, and she pursued her passion for helping others by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. This set her on a path that would impact countless lives. For over 30 years, Denise served as a dedicated labor and delivery operating room tech, and nursing assistant in various units at Richmond University Memorial in Staten Island, where her gentle touch and warm smile provided comfort and reassurance to patients and their families. Denise's life was a testament to the love she had for her own family. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Paxton Jerscheid and his wife Tina of Northampton and Christopher Moen and his wife Marie of Easton. Denise's role as a grandmother to Angelina, Juliana, and Titan was one of her greatest joys. She cherished every moment spent with them, imparting wisdom and creating memories that will forever be treasured. Beyond her professional and family life, Denise had a profound love for animals, particularly horses. Her passion for these majestic creatures was not just a hobby, but a reflection of her own spirit free, strong, and full of grace. She also found solace and expression in drawing, capturing the beauty of the world as she saw it through her art. Denise's legacy is one of selfless devotion and unwavering love. She approached every aspect of her life with a desire to make a difference, whether it was through her career in nursing, in the nurturing of her children and grandchildren, or in the simple act of caring for an animal in need.
