David Francis
Grube
Nov 21, 1951 — May 18, 2026
David Francis Grube, 74, of Greers Ferry, AR, formerly of Somonauk, IL, was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA, and died peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family. He was the husband of Pamela L. Grube, with whom he celebrated 15 years of marriage on July 24, 2025. He was the son of the late Herbert M. and Gladys G. Grube. After graduating from high school, David earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from East Stroudsburg State College in May 1973. He spent most of his career as a Production Supervisor before retiring, then enjoyed substitute teaching in local schools. David was a Master Mason with Bethlehem Lodge No. 283 F&AM. David loved football and, whenever he could, spent the day watching NFL and college games. He was also a car enthusiast who enjoyed attending Corvette Club events and other car shows. Social and friendly by nature, he always had a joke ready to put new people at ease. He was generous in life, donating to charities and organizations he believed in, as well as lending a hand whenever someone had car troubles. David filled many roles in life, but above all, he was deeply loved.
