Obituary

David Bruch, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on June 27, 2025, surrounded by his family at the age of 65. Born on July 25, 1959, in Bethlehem, David was the cherished son of the late Sterling and Elda Eva (Reichard) Bruch. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nannette (Raudenbush) Bruch, with whom he shared over 45 years of loving marriage. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.

A proud father, David is survived by his son, David Bruch, Jr., and his wife Erin, and was the adoring grandfather to Faith and Sarah, who brought immense happiness to his life. He was predeceased by his twin grandsons, Thomas and Vincent, who are surely

embracing him once again.

David's love extended to his siblings, Edward Bruch and his wife Mary Ann, Gary Bruch and his wife Cindy, Robert Bruch, Beverly Josar and her husband Larry, and Gloria Jean Hurley and her husband Richard as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

A graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1978, David went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Army, specifically with the 82nd Airborne Division. His patriotism was a cornerstone of his character, and he carried the lessons of service and dedication throughout his life.

After his military service, David worked in industrial maintenance for Country Meadows Retirement Communities.

David's interests were a reflection of his love for his country and its history. He was particularly fascinated by US history, the history of wars, and would often visit Gettysburg with his wife, where they shared their mutual appreciation for the past. David also had a deep affection for old cars, especially his father's Mustang, which he maintained with meticulous care.

Above all, being with his family was everything to David. He was a pillar of strength, love, and guidance for his loved ones. His presence at family gatherings, his stories, and his laughter will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. David's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
