Darryl E. Fritz passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on November 18, 1947, in the vibrant city of Honolulu, Hawaii, he carried the enduring spirit of aloha with him throughout his life. He was reunited with the love of his life, Dolores A. Fritz (Handlovic), whom he deeply missed after her passing.

The beloved son of the late Eugene Fritz and Elizabeth Kekauoha, Darryl was raised with the values of hard work and dedication. He graduated from Liberty High School before embarking on a lifelong career as a respected crane operator at Bethlehem Steel. His skill and reliability earned him the admiration of colleagues, while his generosity and willingness to help others made him a valued member of his community.

Above all, family was the cornerstone of Darryl's life. He was a devoted father to Melissa A. Anoai and her husband Samuel of Pensacola, FL; Darryl Fritz Jr. and his wife Holly of Allentown, PA; Rebecca A. Fritz of Allentown; and Todd A. Fritz and his wife Andrea of Northampton, PA. His children will forever cherish the lessons he taught them and the unconditional love he provided. Darryl was also a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, who filled his life with joy and laughter. He was preceded in death by his son Christopher A. Fritz.
