Obituary

Craig Mosebach, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 1, 1937, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Schrempel) Mosebach.

Craig's life was rooted in family, faith, and quiet strength. He shared more than 63 beautiful years with his wife, Alice (Shields) Mosebach—a love story built on deep affection, mutual respect, and unwavering partnership. Together, they raised two children: their daughter, Jody Trostle, and their son, Jeffrey S. Mosebach and his wife, Joellen as well as a foster son Ngan Nguyen. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Tyler, Jessica, Calli, Elizabeth, and Aliceann. Most recently, he became a joyful great-grandfather. His sister, Dee Ann Webster, will always cherish the special bond they shared throughout their lives.

After graduating from Liberty High School with the Class of 1955, he attended Penn State University before earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lehigh University in 1962. He continued his studies at Lehigh, where he obtained his master's in Business Economics in 1966.

He honorably served in the United States Army National Guard from 1960 to 1964.

Professionally, Craig dedicated over 32 years to PPL. Following his retirement in 1995, he continued to serve his community in various ways, most notably working at Central Moravian Church as Financial Secretary, where his faith remained a steady foundation throughout his life.

At Central Moravian, Craig found purpose and joy in serving others. A faithful and devoted member, he took on leadership roles, including Trustee and Head Sacristan. His service to the church was a testament to his belief in giving back and supporting the spiritual growth of those around him.

Craig's legacy lives on in the family he adored, the faith that guided him, and the quiet acts of service that touched the lives of so many.
