Obituary

Cornelius Felix Obituary Cornelius Felix, of Bethlehem, passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 74, surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 20, 1950, in Lahore, Pakistan, he was the son of the late Barkat Masih and Rozy Felix. He shared a blissful marriage of over 49 years with his beloved wife, Aquila (Shah) Felix. Together, they raised a warm and compassionate family, including their four children Feeba, Leon, Zarah, and his late son Solomon Felix. His joy was multiplied with the arrival of his grandchildren Aidan, Adriel, Amaris, Jadon, and Tia, who brought immense happiness to his later years. He is predeceased by brothers Joseph and Stephen and is survived by his devoted siblings Christina Manuel, Philomina Duesdieker, Salvestina Felix, and Augustina Samuel as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Cornelius was a man of great intelligence and dedication, which is reflected in his successful career. After earning his Bachelor's degree in accounting at Punjab University, he served diligently as an account officer for Pakistan International Airlines. His commitment to his profession was paralleled only by his passion for community service, as he dutifully served as president of the Christians Employee Society and supported fellow followers of Christ at work. His faith played a central role in his life. He was a faithful member of St. Ursula Catholic Church in Fountain Hill. He proclaimed his faith musically, skillfully playing both the Sitar and Tabla. Cornelius's interests reflected his love for life and nature. He found solace in the tranquility of his garden, tending to his plants with the same care and attention he gave to every aspect of his life. Cooking was another of his passions, and he delighted in preparing meals for his family, infusing each dish with spice and love. His adventurous spirit led him to travel, explore new cultures, and create lasting memories with his loved ones.
