Catherine M. Hagerman Obituary Catherine M. (Marcy) Hagerman, 90, passed away peacefully at her home on January 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 19, 1934, in Washington, D.C., Catherines journey began as the daughter of the late Willard and Agnes M. (McAuliffe) Marcy, and she grew up alongside her late sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Barr. She attended Lockhaven State University. Catherine was the beloved wife of the late James B. Hagerman. The couple traveled to all seven continents, with Ireland holding a special place in Catherine's heart. She was a devoted member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Catherine's creative spirit found expression in a multitude of hobbies. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and embroidery. Her artistic talents also extended to ceramics and jewelry making. Catherine's love for the outdoors was evident in her enjoyment of traveling, fishing and boating. Family was the cornerstone of Catherine's world. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, James Hagerman, and Edward Hagerman and his companion Betty Squillante; her daughter, Dauphine Snyder and her husband Craig; and her adored grandson, Cody Snyder. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
