Obituary

Carrie (Yost) Yuhas, 68, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026 with her loving husband, Joseph Yuhas, at her side.

Born on December 2, 1957, in Allentown, Carrie was the daughter of the late Ernest and Jean (Benner) Yost. She graduated from Dieruff High School in 1975. In addition to her husband, Carrie is survived by Sarah, Troy, and Grammy's Boys Gavin and Mason, Lauren, Grammy's Tiny Dancer Emily, Jessica and her wild child Jet. Joe's children Jennifer and husband Jim, Jason and wife Alysha and their boys Gage and Jacob, Moke and wife Aileen and their daughter Juniper. The Yuhas crew completed our family, thank you for loving our mom.

Carrie loved all of her grandkids, gardening, animals and treasure hunting at thrift stores and yard sales. You would find Carrie in her yard, either feeding the birds and critters or digging in her gardens. Her love of all things nature and animals has been passed down to her daughters and grandkids.

Carrie's life was not always birds and butterflies, but even during the difficult times she remained loving, honest, kind and demonstrated strength beyond measure. Good things do take time. Joe's love, devotion, protection and sometimes his patience, never wavered bringing her immense peace during the final chapter of her life, which she most definitely needed and deserved. We love you, Joe.

While her family will never be the same without her, we will go on for her and honor her memory of being the most living, caring, devoted, strong, bad ass woman we have ever met. Thank you mom, for everything.
