In Loving Memory of Carole Ann Mazzola

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Ann Mazzola who passed away peacefully on June 30th, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Yonkers, New York, she spent most of her life in northern New Jersey before retiring in Virginia. She built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and countless memories. More than anything, she was devoted to her family. She was the beloved mother of Kerry (Carolyn), Courtney, and Craig (Michele), and the proud and loving grandmother of Andrew, Charlotte, Vivienne, Jackson, and Evie, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

She is now reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Kim. Their love was the foundation of her happiness. Whether they were traveling together, exploring the coast in search of another lighthouse, or simply spending time side by side, she was happiest when she was with him. We find comfort in knowing they are together once again.

When she was well, she had a gift for bringing people together. She loved entertaining family and friends, filling her home with delicious meals, laughter, and love. She passed on her passion for cooking to her children, teaching them not only recipes but also that sharing a meal was one of life's greatest expressions of love.

She will be remembered for her generous heart, her devotion to those she loved, and the many traditions and memories she leaves behind. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing she passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, and is now at peace with the man she loved so deeply.

Her love lives on through her children, grandchildren, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
