Carmen Maria Vazquez, 90, of Bethlehem died peacefully in her home surrounded by loving family members. She was the widow of Pedro Vazquez Luciano. Born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, Carmen was the daughter of Modesta Mendez. She worked in the housekeeping department at St. Luke's Hospital for several years before retiring. She was a faithful member at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Carmen enjoyed singing and dancing, playing dominoes, watching Spanish comedies, Spanish soap operas and World Wrestling Entertainment. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking for them and making sure their tummies were full before they left her home. Her family was her world. She not only raised her own children but also her granddaughter, Frances Vazquez of Allentown and her great grandchildren, Angeliek Vazquez and Nathian Rosario Vazquez who resided with her and great grandson, Gabriel Colon for a period of time.

Survivors: Children, Maria Trinidad of Bethlehem, Santos Vazquez and his wife Andrea Gonzalez of Clearwater, FL, Roberto Vazquez and his wife Isabel, Pedro Vazquez and his wife Millie all of Allentown, Joaquin Vazquez and his wife Sandra of Bethlehem, Carmen Molina of Jacksonville, FL; approximately 26 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly. Carmen was predeceased by her daughter, Norma Vazquez and her son, Angel Vazquez.

Service: Funeral Service 11:00AM Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. A viewing will be held from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday, October 14, 2026 and 10:00AM to 11:00AM Thursday, October 15, 2026 at the funeral home.
