She was the wife of the late Eduardo T. Garcia. Born on October 8, 1936, in Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic, to the late Juan and Marina (Espejo) Estevez, Carmen's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family and an unwavering faith.
Her legacy of love lives on through her children, Elizabeth Liriano and her husband Diogenes of Allentown, Ivelisse Garcia-Rogalewicz and her husband Frank of Bethlehem, Cinthia Tejeda and her husband Ronye of Allentown, Jeannette Ramirez and her husband Juan Gabriel of Morrisville, Eduardo Garcia and his wife Joselyn of Allentown, Tito Garcia and his wife Tanya of Allentown and Elena Garcia-Carrasco of Bonao, Dominican Republic; siblings, Juan Jose Estevez, Rolando Estevez, and Ligia Estevez and her 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Professionally, Carmen dedicated her younger years as an administrative assistant. Her interests were a reflection of her inner beauty; she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Carmen loved to immerse herself in the beauty of nature, appreciating the delicate dance of butterflies, the vibrant colors of flowers, and the serene songs of birds. One of Carmen's most endearing qualities was her voice, which resonated with the love of the Lord. She was often heard singing hymns and Christian music with her family, her melodious voice well known in churches and gatherings. Her sweet, loving, and tender presence was a comfort to all who were privileged to hear her sing.
Carmen's sweet, loving, and tender nature made her a friend to all.
