Obituary

Born on September 4, 1963 in Norristown, PA, Brian Patrick McKenna was the son of Bernard and Jeanette McKenna.

Brian graduated from the University of Scranton in 1985 with a degree in Accounting. During school he was able to return to his Irish roots while studying abroad in Galway, Ireland. He proudly worked in Finance his entire career as a CPA, working for companies such as Arthur Andersen, Commodore International, Sanofi Pasteur and most recently Ecopax. Brian enjoyed golfing, war movies, most kinds of music, and some of the pets in his life. He enjoyed the community he found at the Hellertown Sportsman Association and the Knights of Columbus, where he was an active member known for volunteering and being involved in their fundraising events. He will be remembered by his children for flying kites, building bottle rockets and model airplanes, and helping them with their taxes. He had a love of history and enjoyed learning through museums, documentaries and reading. Brian would love to be remembered for his quick and dry sense of humor, but only time will tell.

SURVIVORS He is survived by Bernadine McKenna (nee McCarthy) his wife of 38 years, his children Kevin, Maeve & Clare McKenna, his mother Jeanette, brother Michael McKenna, sisters-in-law Rosanna & Catherine McCarthy, multiple cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Bernard, and brothers-in-law Brian, Daniel & Sean McCarthy.
