Anna Sopko Obituary Anna Margaret Sopko, 94, of Bethlehem died Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill. She was the widow of Robert T. Sopko, Sr. who died July 30, 2019. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Kalman and Anna (Fetko) Fabian. A 1947 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Anna after graduation worked in the tax office of the Northampton County Courthouse. She later accepted a clerical position at Bethlehem Steel. She was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church, Fountain Hill where she sang on the choir and served on the Womens Guild. Anna was an active member of the Golden Hillers, the National Sokols and the Ladies Pennsylvania Slovak Catholic Union. A gifted baker, her kiffles, nut rolls and halupkies were the best. Annas family, her relationship with God and her church were most important to her. Survivors: Children, Joseph A. Sopko and his wife Suzanne of Macungie, Robert T. Sopko, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Allentown, Mari Ann Sopko of Bethlehem; sister, Helen Fabian; grandchildren, John and his wife Dianne, Ben, Kaitlyn, Alex, Tyler and Zach. She was predeceased by daughters, Roberta Sopko and Joanne Glenn and siblings, Mary Sefcik and Joseph Fabian. Service: Funeral Mass 10:30AM Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015. Viewing 9:30AM to 10:30AM Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in the church.
