Anna 'Pattie' Giordani Obituary Anna Patricia ('Pattie') Giordani, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 29, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on October 19, 1951, in Cheverly, Maryland, Pattie was a beacon of creativity and warmth to all who knew her. She was a compassionate and caring individual that so many came to adore.
Pattie was the daughter of the late Frank Tornese and Ollie Carter. Her formative years were spent in Laurel, Maryland where her father was a barber and her mother was a beautician. She attended Atholton High School in Columbia Maryland where she developed the foundations for her lifelong love of learning and literature. She attended Frostburg College in western Maryland before she began working for the Social Security Administration. Continuing her educational journey, Pattie graduated with a bachelors degree from Moravian College. Her passion for writing was evident from an early age, as she had been writing 'since she held a crayon.' This passion blossomed into a fulfilling career, as Pattie dedicated three years to the Express Times and twelve years to the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
Her talent for the written word led her to write freelance articles that graced both national and local newspapers and magazines, showcasing her versatility and keen insight. Pattie's involvement in the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group was a testament to her commitment to her craft. She not only shared her expertise with others but also presented workshops on marketing and writing, inspiring many aspiring writers to pursue their dreams. Her love for the written word was matched only by her love for her family.
Pattie is survived by her loving husband Gary M. Krall and devoted children, Christopher Giordani of Portland, OR, and Anthony G. Giordani, Jr, and his wife Alyssa of Nazareth as well as her sister, Mitzi Reinbold, and her husband Morgan of Oley, PA and a niece, Heather Flyte. Pattie's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Logan, Grant, Lux, and Atticus, who were the joy of her life. Beyond her professional and family life, Pattie was an avid reader, her mind always hungry for new stories and knowledge. Her hands were rarely still, as she found joy in sewing, crafts, crocheting, and especially in spending time with her family and cats. Each stitch and page-turn was a testament to her love for creating and sharing beauty in all forms.
