Obituary

Allen "Tweety" V. Sparrow, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, while in the care of Gracedale Nursing Home.

Born in Northampton County, he was the son of the late John and Vera (Vogel) Sparrow. Allen was employed as a presser for Sparrow Blouse for many years and later worked for Albanese Garden Center.

Allen was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He shared over 53 years of loving marriage with his beloved wife, Kathleen "Kathy" (Hein) Sparrow, who preceded him in death in 2020. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories and raised a loving family.

Allen was an active member of Star of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and volunteered with the Lions Club. He enjoyed bowling as a member of the Coplay Sagerbund Bowling League and was an avid IronPigs baseball fan. Allen was also an avid gardener who took great pride in caring for his flowers and enjoyed the beauty of gardening. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.
