Born on September 15, 1927, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Alexander Gorski Sr. and Elizabeth (Morrison) Gorski.
Al's life was marked by dedication to his country, his work, and above all, his family. A devout member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Al's faith was a cornerstone of his life. His commitment to community service was further exemplified through his active involvement with the former American Legion, post 0611, in Easton, where he forged lasting friendships and contributed to numerous veteran-related initiatives. Al's interests and hobbies were as diverse as they were passionate. He enjoyed knitting to donate to the homeless and disadvantaged. Al was a man who cherished the simple pleasures in life, whether it was spending time with his family, sharing stories with friends, or enjoying the beauty of nature. His warm presence and kind-hearted nature were a source of joy and comfort to all who knew him.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his family, including his son, Michael A. Gorski and his wife Beverly of Brantford, Ontario, Canada; his daughter, Susan E. Berkenstock and her husband Kenneth of Bethlehem; his son Thomas A. Gorski and his wife Diane of Discovery Bay, California; his daughter Catherine Lambert of Allentown.
