Abraham M.'Bob' Mark Obituary Abraham M. "Bob" Mark, 101, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 6, 2024. Born on August 19, 1923, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Jacob and Gittle Mark. After completing his education, culminating in a PhD from Cornell University, Bob dedicated his life to the field of education. As a college professor, he specialized in mathematics and computer science, sharing his passion for these subjects with countless students over the years at Southern Illinois University, George Washington University, George Mason University and the University of Wisconsin. Bob loved his family and most recently enjoyed sitting in the Gazebo at Kirkland Village. He is survived by his devoted children, Jan Muzyczka and her husband Robert Mayer and Jonathan Mark and his wife Ellen; grandchildren Sonja, Joshua, Rachel, Seth and Noah; great grandchildren James, Ben and Alex and great great grandchildren Ronnie and Rosa. He was preceded in death by his wife Sylvia Mark and sisters Sylvia and Helen. Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
