Wilbur Westwood Obituary

Wilbur H. Westwood, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 while in the care of St. Luke's Hospice House. He was the loving husband of Beverly A. (Stephens) Westwood. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Wilbur E. and Florence H. (Snyder) Westwood. Wilbur honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a Weigh Master for the Bethlehem Steel for 31 years until retiring in 1985. Wilbur was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Easton the Golden Hillers, the Fountain Hill Hosey and was a former member of the Fountain Hill Rescue Squad, Police Department and Fire Department.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Beverly, he will be lovingly remembered by his sons David S. Westwood and his companion Sheri of Fountain Hill, Wilbur P. Westwood and his wife Kristin of Lower Nazareth and Dean A. Westwood of Allentown; sister Mildred Florence Petko of Bethlehem Twp.; 7 loving grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Wilbur was preceded in death by many siblings.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday December 3, 2018 at the Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway Fountain Hill, PA 18015 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
