Thomas M. Klopack, 90, formerly of Bethlehem, peacefully passed into the arms of his Savior on September 2, 2018, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the husband of the late Annamae (Fertal) Klopack, who died in 2016.
Born in Bethlehem Township, Thomas was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Lichvar) Klopack. He graduated from Liberty High School and Bethlehem Vo-Tech, and then served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He returned home and began working for Bethlehem Steel Corp. He worked for them as a horticulturalist, retiring after 28 years of service. He loved gardening and being outdoors, as well as being an avid hockey and Flyers fan. Thomas was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Catholic Church, where he was an altar server, a choir member, a member of the Seniors Group, and a Bingo caller. He also sang for over 25 years with the Tatra Slovak Folk Group. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors: Daughters Mary Rigatti and her husband Peter of Bethel Park, Margaret Roncolato and her husband John of Emmaus; grandchildren Veronica and Anna Rigatti, Anthony Roncolato. Thomas was predeceased by his siblings Joseph, John, Paul and George Klopack, and Rose Skoff.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 6, at Incarnation of Our Lord Catholic Church, 617 Peirce St., Bethlehem, 18015, where friends may call from 9:00 AM until time of services.
