Thomas Gatta Obituary

Thomas A. Gatta, 79 formerly of Allentown, passed away peacefully in his brother Peter's home in Fountain Hill, on Monday September 11, 2017. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Anthony and Beatrice (Berardo) Gatta. Tom worked as a mechanic for 36 years at Mack Trucks, until retiring. He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

Survivors: he will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Joseph Gatta and wife Mary of Salisbury Twp., and Peter Gatta (Mary Jane Mandarino) of Fountain Hill; wife, Barbara. He is also survived by nieces and a nephew, and grand nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, September 15, 2017 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave, Whitehall, PA 18052. A viewing will be held from 9:15 A.M. to 10:15 A.M. at the Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway Fountain Hill prior to the mass. His burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
