Ruth Resh Obituary
Ruth J. Resh, 83 of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Thursday November 16, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Roy M. Resh, Jr. who passed away in 2013. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hattie Ann (Moser) Miller. Ruth worked at Fountain Hill Mills and the Bethlehem Area School District for many years. She loved to crochet and read. Ruth was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her children, Roy M. Resh, III and his wife Kathleen of Bethlehem Township, Ronald D. Resh of Bethlehem and Ruthann R. "Rudi" O'Rourke and her husband Brian of Emmaus; brother Lawrence Miller and his wife Carolyn of Bethlehem Township; grandchildren Christine, Jennifer, Timothy and Daniel and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings Marvin Miller, Thelma Hoffman and Eleanor Stahr.
Services: A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday November 21, 2017 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive family and friends from 10 A.M. until time of service. Burial will take place at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
