Robert F. Moretz

Robert F. Moretz, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday November 25, 2017 at Manorcare in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Rita Ann (Lyons) Moretz with whom he shared 59 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Charles and Irma (Gubish) Moretz. He was a 1953 graduate of Bethlehem Technical High School. Bob honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon returning, he worked as a Railroad Clerk for Reading and Conrail Railroad for many years until retiring. He was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, a longtime member of the NE Wanderers, and he was also a member of the T.C.U. Union Lodge 612 in Reading. In his youth, Bob enjoyed playing basketball at the Bethlehem Boys Club, and later while in the Army.

Surviving: In addition to his loving wife Rita Ann; son William D. Moretz of Bethlehem; daughter Marie Dischinat and husband Edward of Nazareth; brother Charles R. Moretz and wife Cheryl; niece Michelle Moretz all of Reading.
