Mona LaBarre Obituary

Mona LaBarre, 77, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. She was the wife of the late George F. LaBarre, who died in 2014.

Born in Bethlehem, Mona was the daughter of the late Louis and Maude (Transue) Cogorno. She enjoyed raising her family and going shopping.

Survivors: son Thomas E. Guth, Sr., and his wife Michelle; brother Richard Cogorno; sister Barbara Strock and twin sister Donna Randall; 3 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; longtime friend Stanley Bielanski. Mona was predeceased by her siblings Alvin, Walter, Charles, Ada Mae, Mary Jane and Margaret.

Services: Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March17, at Nisky Hill Cemetery, 254 E. Church St., Bethlehem, 18018. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
