Martha Grube Obituary
Martha J. Grube, 86, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Easton. She was the wife of the late John H. Grube, who died in 1999.
Born in Bethlehem, Martha was the daughter of the late John and Jennie (Ruth) Savitz. She was a homemaker, also volunteered at the Bethlehem Boys Club. She was a warm and caring person, and found joy in many ways. She enjoyed raising her family and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors: children Henry O. Grube and wife Nydia of Slatington, Barbara J. Grube and husband Larry of Lehighton, Patricia Friesen and husband Lonnie of Morris, Manitoba, Edward F. Grube and partner Lori of Center Valley, Edward J. Grube and wife Kim of Bethlehem; son-in-law George Kester of Kuhnsville; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Martha was predeceased by a daughter, Pauline Kester, and a son, John Grube.
Services: Funeral Services will held be at 10:30 AM on Saturday in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from 9:30 AM until time of services. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
