Martha Grietzer Obituary
Martha D. (Pierson) Grietzer, 95, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Grietzer.
Born in Hazelton, Martha was the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Kerstetter) Pierson. She was a nurse's aid for the Nursing Personnel Pool, and also worked at the Bethlehem Dairy Store, McCrory's 5 & 10, and for Quaker Vending. She loved ice cream and Bingo, and was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, as well at the Senior Citizens Club of Bethlehem, where she enjoyed the 55 Alive Club and TOPS.
Survivors: son Roland Grietzer and his wife Phyllis of Bethlehem; grandchildren Karen Uhler of Bethlehem Township, Douglas Grietzer and wife Michele of Bath, Stacy Rodriguez and husband Bill of Bethlehem; 6 great grandchildren; and 5 sisters. Martha was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services: Funeral Services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from 10 AM until time of services. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
