Marilyn Landrock Obituary
Marilyn Jean Landrock, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at The Gardens at Easton Nursing Home, where she has resided for the past 4 years. Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was a graduate of Fountain Hill High School (where she was a majorette and cheerleader) and also attended Moravian College. She was the daughter of Wilbur Herman Landrock and Martha (Sandherr) Landrock, both deceased.
The love of Marilyn's life was dancing. Starting when she was 3 years old with Ronnie Clifford, then Jeanne Meixell. She also danced with the Bethlehem Ballet Co. and was a featured dancer for the Country Cousins Band. When she was 21 she spent a year in Miami, Fl as a Playboy Bunny. Then she moved to the west coast and became an executive secretary for such companies as Transamerica Occidental Ins. Co, Ducommun, United Way, Fairmont Ins., Ernst & Whinney and Wilcox Inc. Her mother's health caused her to move back east where she worked for Muhlenberg College, MCS Ind. ,Inc, Agility Forum, Lincoln Investments & M&O Roofing and Sheeting.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her sisters, Joan (Wallace, deceased) Schlegel of Nazareth and Carol (Robert) Esposito of Delanco, NJ. She has 1 neice and 5 nephews and 8 grand nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, where friends and family may call from 12 Noon until 12:30 PM . Internment will be in the Fountain Hill Cemetery.
CONTRIBUTIONS: In lieu of flowers, may be made to a charity of your choice.
