Loretta M. (Haase) Salabsky, 88, of Bethlehem, passed away at her home into the arms of her Saviour surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 3, 2017. Loretta was the loving wife of the late Harold Salabsky who passed in 2008.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Curtis Haase and Freida Schultz.
Loretta was a graduate of Liberty High School. She was a member of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church. She was known for her love and devotion to her family and her love of children. Loretta had worked in daycare prior to her retirement. She enjoyed following her children and grandchildren's involvement in Liberty's band and sports. She was currently a loyal cheerleader for her church's dart baseball team.
Loretta is survived by her children; Carol Voortman, wife of James, Edward Salabsky, husband of Kim and Deborah Conklin, wife of Dave and 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Loretta is preceded in death by her siblings; Curtis, Paul, Ella, Irene, Ruth and Esther.
A funeral service for Loretta will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11am at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem, PA 18018, where family and friends may call on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6-8pm and again on Saturday from 10am until the time of the service.
