Kirk Thomas Flemming

Kirk Flemming, 53, left us for his heavenly home on Sunday, November 26, 2017. He was born in Allentown, Pa. on June 20, 1964, the son of Nancy Flemming of Bethlehem, and the late Ronald Flemming. Kirk was a graduate of Freedom High School, where he was a member of the wrestling and football teams. He continued his education in Arizona, where he graduated from Arizona State University, and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha national fraternity. Kirk's greatest joy was in helping children, so he worked for the Boys and Girls Club in Arizona, and while there helped establish a community service program with the Arizona Cardinals. Upon returning to Bethlehem, he worked for the Allentown Boys and Girls Club and for Kidspeace. He loved his alma mater, ASU, his friends, his fraternity brothers, wrestling, his Pittsburgh Steelers and most of all, his beloved son, Tal-Reese. Kirk's family loved him dearly. We will never think of him without a big smile on his face, and we will keep him in our hearts and minds forever.

Survivors: Kirk is survived by his mother, Nancy Flemming; son Tal-Reese Flemming of Bethlehem; sister, Kristin Swanick of Drexel Hill; Aunt Carole Gawlik of Bethlehem; and nieces Kara and Kylie Swanick, and nephew Stephen Swanick of Drexel Hill.

Services: Please join us for a Memorial Service to celebrate Kirk's life at 11 AM on Saturday, December 9, in the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, 2344 Center Street, Bethlehem, 18017. Kirk's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
