June B. Reese

June B. Reese, 97, of Bethlehem, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday December 5, 2018 while in the care of the Peter Becker Community, Harleysville. She was the loving wife of the late William H. Reese, Jr. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Elwood P. and Esther (Litsinger) Bright. June graduated from Wilson High School and attained her Bachelors at Moravian College in 1943. She was an English, History and French teacher at Easton, Whitehall, and Bethlehem Area School Districts. After retirement, she worked as the editor for The Staff Gazette at St. Luke's Hospital. She enjoyed painting, was a life long member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church of Bethlehem where she taught Sunday School, and was a former member of AAUW.

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sylvia Volksdorf of North Wales, PA and granddaughter, Jennifer Volksdorf of Bristol, PA and her beloved bible study group friends.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday December 10, 2018 at Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, 75 E Union Blvd, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. June's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Moravian College, 1200 Main Street, Bethlehem 18018 or to the church.
