John A. Brandle, Jr., 67, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully, on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Linda (Smith) Brandle, who passed away on March 27, 2017. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late John A. and Ruth (Christ) Brandle, Sr. John worked in the warehouse at ALPO Nestle/Purina for over 40 years, until retiring in 2016. John enjoyed working with his hands, and anything to do with fish and fish tanks. He also enjoyed cars, drawing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his granddaughter Autumn.
SURVIVORS: He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Megan E. Desthers and her husband Joseph of Catasauqua; son John A. Brandle, III of Whitehall; brother Michael Brandle and his wife Debbie of Bethlehem; sisters Bonnie Brandle Barto and her husband Jim of Deltona, FL, Carol Oberly and her husband John of Center Valley; nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Linda, John was predeceased by his daughter Ryan Suzanne Brandle in 1989, and siblings Denise ad Terry Brandle.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Bethlehem Memorial Park. John's arrangements are entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Homem, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
