Germaine Demshock, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Kirkland Village, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Stephen T. Demshock who passed away in 2001. Born in Plouye, France, she was the daughter of the late Yves and Lidouren Benjamin. Germaine received her education mainly in France and later furthered her education in the United States. She worked at Balliet Realty and later for Fishburn Realty with her husband and son. Germaine was also a former Postmaster in Versailles, France. She was a former volunteer at St. Luke's Hospital and a volunteer tour guide at Kirkland Village. Germaine was a member of St Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Nancy Sarmir of Nazareth; son Thomas S. Demshock and his wife Laraine of Bethlehem; brother Andre Benjamin and sister Yvette DelPrat both of France and granddaughters, Danielle, Stephanie and Alexandra.
Services: A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday August 30, 2017 in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, where friends may call from 9 AM until the time of the service.
