Erin Shapple Obituary

Erin C. Shapple, 44, of Fountain Hill, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of Kevin M. Shapple with whom she shared 5 years of loving marriage, and 11 years of a loving relationship. Born in Beaumont, TX, she was the daughter of the late Don and Lynne (Scaramucci) Shagan. Erin worked for Lintons Food Service, as the kitchen manager at Executive Education Academy Charter School in Allentown. She was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. Erin was a loving and devoted mother and enjoyed doing arts and crafts with her children. She was the former committee chair and recently a Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 352, where she volunteered countless hours. Erin loved animals, and was also an accomplished baker.

SURVIVORS: In addition to her loving husband Kevin, she will be sadly missed by her children Owen Michael Shapple, Weston John Shapple, newborn baby Willow Shapple, and Victoria Smith; mother-in-law Janice (Kacar) Shapple of Bethlehem; sister-in-law Deborah Spillman and her husband Peter of West Hartford, CT and her loving niece Samantha.

SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 A.M. until time of the mass at the church. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Erin's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway Fountain Hill, PA 18015. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.

CONTRIBUTIONS: In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist with childcare may be sent to Cantelmi Funeral Home.
