Edward Borkowski Obituary
Edward L. Borkowski, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2019, at St. Luke's University Hospital - Anderson Campus. He was the husband of Nancy (Ueberroth) Borkowski, with whom he shared over 63 years of loving marriage.
Born in Fountain Hill, Edward was the son of the late Edward and Anne (Smith) Borkowski, Sr. He served in the US Navy from 1953 to 1957, and then worked for the US Post Office from 1961 until his retirement in 1990. He was an avid Eagles fan, and also enjoyed playing golf and going bowling. He enjoyed weekly dinners at Machs Gute, going to the casino for his birthday (formerly to Atlantic City and later to the Bethlehem Sands), and family trips to Florida to enjoy DisneyWorld and Gatorland.
Survivors: wife Nancy; daughter Luann Reppert and her husband William of Baileyville, ME; sons Brian Borkowski and his wife Jane of Bath, Mark Borkowski and his wife Kathryn of West Chester; brothers Michael Eline of Georgia, and Barry Eline and his wife Diane of Arizona; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
