Edith Blinderman Obituary
Edith Blinderman, 92, of Framingham, MA and formerly of Bethlehem and Allentown, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 while in the care of the Parlin Hospice Residence, Wayland, MA. She was the wife of the late Martin Blinderman. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Anna (Frankel) Podberesky. Edith was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1943. She later attended Penn State University and Tobé Coburn School of Fashion, NYC. Edith was a member of Brith Sholom, Bethlehem, where she served on the board. She was also a life member of Hadassah and a former president of her chapter. A noted fashion stylist and humorist, Edith was an adored relative and friend.
Survivors: daughters Ann Klein and her husband Jonathan of Framingham, MA, Gena Blinderman and her husband Robert LaMotte of Ashland, MA; sister Dolores Rockman of Allentown; cousin Sandy Schonberger of Allentown; grandchildren Carly Loeb and her husband Wayne, Julia LaMotte and her husband Michael Paktinat, and Mariel LaMotte; great-grandchildren Talia and Ilana Loeb.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 1 P.M. until time of the service. Burial will take place at Brith Sholom Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
