Dorothy F. Taglang, 85, of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was the wife of James B. Taglang, Sr., with whom she shared 65 years of loving marriage.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Barbara (Madzik) Kokosky. Dorothy was an escort for the Bethlehem Steel and was a homemaker. She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling and loved baking, especially kiffles, pies, and nut rolls. Dorothy was very proud of her Slovak heritage. Most of all she loved and adored her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
SURVIVORS: In addition to her loving husband James, daughters Kathleen Andrew and her husband Robert of Fountain Hill, Barbara Check and her husband Robert of Stroudsburg; sons James B. Taglang, Jr. and his wife Renee of Chambersburg, Timothy Taglang and his wife Cecilia of Collingwood, NJ; Sister Frances Puhan of Bethlehem; brother Michael Kokosky and his wife Irene of Bethlehem; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings Stephen, John, Joseph, and Edward Kokosky, Mary Donchez, Anna Lapasky, Helen Rengel, and Agnes Gaal.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M., on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 417 Carlton Ave. Bethlehem. Calling hours will be on Monday evening from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem. Her burial will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem.
