Dorothy DeLazaro

Dorothy DeLazaro, 70, of Fountain Hill, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 26, 2018 while in the care of St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Della (Faillone) DeLazaro. Dorothy was a graduate of Fountain Hill High School. She worked as a Nursing Assistant at Good Shepherd for 45 years until retiring. Dorothy was a member of St. Ursula's Catholic Church, Fountain Hill. She was an avid New York Mets fan and loved her dog Mookie. Dorothy loved spending time with her cousins, especially on summer vacations at LBI. She also loved bowling with her co-workers from Good Shepherd.

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her cousins, JoAnn M. Waverka and her husband Mark; Patti M. Bradley and her husband Robert, Mary Ann M. Nelson and her husband Todd, Richard Shramko, Michael Faillone and Jay Faillone; uncle Joseph Faillone and his wife Pat. Dorothy was preceded in death by her her sister Mary Jo Delazaro.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday August 31, 2018 at St. Ursula's Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015 where the family will receive relatives and friends form 9 A.M. until time of the mass in the church. Burial will take place at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Dorothy's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015.
