Domenic Martocci Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Domenic Martocci, announces his passing on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the age of 81 while in the care of Lehigh Valley Hospice. Domenic married Helen (Alloggio) Martocci on September 28th; they were married for over 60 years, and they raised three daughters: Stephanie, Lucia, and Donna. Born in Roseto, PA, he was the son of the late Leonard and Lucy (Sabatino) Martocci. Domenic was a graduate of Bangor High School, class of 1954. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Domenic worked in the garment industry for over 30 years; owned and operated Jaycee Blouse Company; and worked at Shoemaker Jeep Eagle for 20 years. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. In his earlier days bowling was a favorite pastime. Domenic was a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of St. Thomas More Church, Allentown.
Survivors: Domenic was predeceased by his daughter Lucia Callahan and his brother John. Domenic will be lovingly remembered and missed dearly by his wife Helen; daughters Stephanie Bills and her husband Scott of Halifax, PA, Donna Vancavage and her husband Bob of Halfmoon, NY, son-in-law Bryan Callahan of Bethlehem; grandchildren Travis, Trevor, Rachel, Cody, Ryan and Erica, great grandchildren, Mazlyn and Saydra, and nephews John and Leonard Martocci.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday April 2, 2018 at St. Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown, PA 18103 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 8:30 A.M. until time of Mass in the church. Burial with military honors will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown. Domenic's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
