Dolores (Hauze) DeSieno, 93, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2, 2017, at Sunrise of Westtown, in West Chester. She was the wife of the late Augustine DeSieno, who died in 1972.
Born in Bethlehem, Dolores was a daughter of the late William and Edna (Deetz) Hauze. She enlisted in the US Navy on her 21st birthday, and proudly served in a Marine Corps hospital during WWII. She went on to work at several occupations, particularly as a waitress for Wood Catering at local area events. She was a Girl Scout Leader, a member of the Junior Women's League, the Green Circle, and of the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, where she served in many capacities. Dolores also enjoyed being a Musikfest volunteer for over 20 years.
Survivors: daughter Diane DeSieno and her husband Brian Lane of West Chester; son Thomas DeSieno of Coaldale. Dolores was predeceased by her siblings William, Marjorie, Richard, Gerald, Donald and Albert.
Services: An Evening Viewing will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM on Thursday evening in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday morning in the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, 2344 Center St., Bethlehem, 18017. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
