David O. Enstrom, 72, of Bath, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. He was the loving husband of Faye D. (Knecht) Enstrom with whom he shared over 50 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late George A. and Mary (Horvath) Enstrom. David was a graduate of Liberty High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. David was a Supervisor for the City of Bethlehem Water Department for 32 years, a constable for 26 years and a Police Officer for the L.V.I.A and Upper Nazareth Township Police Department for 30 years. David was a member of Light in Christ Church, Bethlehem, F.O.P Lodge 35 and the North End Wander's Club. He was an active hunter and fisherman.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Faye, he will be remembered by his daughter Kimberly Meacock and her husband William of Carlisle; sons Matthew and his wife Dawn of Northampton and Michael and his wife Dawn of Nazareth; brother John E. Enstrom and his wife Sharon of Northampton and his loving grandchildren Samantha, William and Maxwell Meacock, Hunter and Noah Enstrom and Liam Bittner. David was preceded in death by his son James Enstrom and sister Mary Montoro.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Calling hours will be held on Sunday afternoon from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M. and also on Monday from 11 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
