Carol Raynor Obituary
Carol A. Raynor, 78, of Hanover Township, was surrounded by the love of her family when she peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Paul R. Raynor, with whom she shared over 60 years of wonderful memories.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Carol was the daughter of the late Christopher and Patricia (Fitzgerald) Reddy. She enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. She was the matriarch of her family, keeping everyone together and forgiving all mischief and behaviors. She loved being a grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and looked forward to every family event. Carol loved cooking for her friends and family, as well as going to the casino, taking vacation cruises with many wonderful friends, and planting flowers everywhere that she could. She will be lovingly remembered for the abundance which she brought to everyone's life.
Survivors: Husband Paul; children Tracy Diefenderfer and her husband Jeffery of Bethlehem Township, Virginia Caballero and her husband Alex of Blairstown, NJ, Deborah Dahmer of Shohola, PA, Paul Rayner, Jr and his wife Rita of Haverstraw, NY; brothers Michael Reddy and his wife Deborah of Wilkes-Barre, William Reddy of Brooklyn, NY; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Carol was predeceased by 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
Services: Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, November 1, in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 31, from 2 PM to 4 PM in the afternoon, and also from 6 PM to 8 PM in the evening. A calling hour will also be held on Thursday morning from 10 AM until time of services, all at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the funeral service on Thursday.
