Betty M. Diefenderfer

Betty M. Diefenderfer, 87 of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Walter S. Diefenderfer, Sr. who passed away in 1985. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Clara (Moyer) Kresh. Betty worked as a waitress at The Grover Cleveland Democratic Club, Bethlehem. She was a member of the Grover Cleveland Democratic Club, The Jeff's Democratic Club, The Heights A.A., Bocchi Club of Allentown, BVFHA, and the Independent Citizens Club. Betty was also a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her son Walter S. Diefenderfer and his wife Debra of Bethlehem; granddaughters Traci Kearney and her husband Aidan of Chicago and Kristy Tramonte and her husband Antonio of Bethlehem; great grandson Preston Stout of Bethlehem; sister Shirley Uyvari of Bethlehem.

Services: A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday September 25, 2017 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and also on Monday morning from 9:00 AM until time of service. Burial will take place at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
