Bertha Donoso Obituary
Bertha A. Donoso, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018, at Holy Family Personal Care Residences, Trexler Pavillion in Bethlehem. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Joseph Donoso, who passed away on March 9, 2005. Born in Bethlehem, she was one of thirteen children to the the late Alexander and Anna Poniktera. Bertha worked as a seamstress for various garment factories in the Lehigh Valley and was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miller Heights. Bertha enjoyed spending time with her family and also going to the Senior Center in Bethlehem.
SURVIVORS: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Frances DiFelice of Bethlehem Twp., and Diane Donaldson and her husband Joseph of Bethlehem; grandchildren Sandra Rezac and her husband Jason, David Donaldson and his wife Julie; great grandchildren Taylor Rezac, Jason Rezac, Jr., and Bradley Donaldson. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son in law George DiFelice, grandson George DiFelice, Jr. She was also predeceased by her siblings Helen Sklodowski, Julie Doro, Frank, Walter, Stanley, Alexander, Joseph, John, and Edward Poniktera.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday May 31, 2018 in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, where friends and family may call from 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM. Her burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
