Bernard "Dino" Fantozzi, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at St Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the loving husband of Jennie (Giammarco) Fantozzi with whom he shared over 61 years of marriage. Born in Bellante, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Maria (DiEdoardo) Fantozzi. Dino honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was involved in the garment industry for many years as well as a real-estate investor. He was a member and President of the Bath Lions Club, a board member of 1st National Bank in Bath, and the Atlantic Apparel Contractors Association. He was also a member of Church of the Assumption BVM Church, Bethlehem. He spent the last few decades living in Italy during the summer and Pennsylvania in the winter. Dino loved to travel the world with his wife and loved spending time with his many friends around the world. SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving wife, he will remembered by his daughter Carla Fantozzi Palermo and her husband Tony of Los Angeles, CA; sons Vincent Fantozzi and his wife Julie of Allentown and Dino Fantozzi and his wife Nora of Bethlehem; siblings Al Fantozzi and his wife Betty of Cherryville, Josephine Herb of Hellertown, Ettie Spezzano and her husband Frank of Brandon, VT and Fernanda Fantozzi of Hellertown; and his 8 loving grandchildren, Rosa, Nicolo, Katarina, Quinn, Enzo, Talia, Liam and Julian.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, and also on Friday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time of the Mass at Church. Entombment will be in the private family mausoleum at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. A memorial tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
