Barbara Franclik

Barbara A. Franclik, 75, of Allentown PA, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2018, in her home under the care of her loving family and caregiver Bernadette Bartynski. Born on March 1, 1943 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ernest DeSentis and Bertha (Matosek) Laky. Before retirement she worked at Lucent Technologies and B.Braun, as well as a home health care aid. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, liked shopping, gardening, decorating and arts and crafts. She will be most remembered for her kindness and generosity.
SURVIVORS: She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Dean Franclik of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Nicholas Franclik Jr. of Macungie; daughter, Colleen Franclik and her husband Randy Kunkle of Kutztown; grandchildren, Krista and Jarid Kunkle; sister, Paula Laky and her husband, Stephen of Allentown; brother, John DeSentis and his wife, Dorothy of Kissimmee, FL, companion George Kratzer of Salisbury Township.
