Arthur Troiani Obituary

Arthur C. Troiani, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 26, 2018, while in the care of his family and Consider it Done caregivers at Traditions of Hanover Senior Living in Hanover Twp. He was the husband of Sylvia H. (Pluski) Troiani, with whom he shared 65 years of loving marriage.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Generoso and Anna (Durant) Troiani. He honorably served his country with the US Army during WWII. Art worked for the Bethlehem Steel in Production Scheduling in the Saucon Division for 37 years, until retiring in 1981.

He was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, and was a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
Art was a member of the Bethlehem Steel club and an avid golfer. He was a member of the Mora Club and the member-statistician for the Heights AA Bowling Team.
Always known for his devotion to his family, Arthur was noted for his active interest in his grand-children and more recently great grand-children, taking every opportunity to enjoy their many varied activities.


SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving wife Sylvia, son Arthur J. Troiani (Rhonda Hahn) of Flour Mound, TX; daughters Rebecca H. Chando (Stephen) of Bethlehem, Yvonne M. Troiani-Sweeney (Christopher) of Mountain Top, Linda-Lee Niedbala (Sam) of Allentown; brother Peter J. Troiani (Margaret) of Bethlehem; grandchildren Christopher (Brenda), Benjamin (Amanda), Alexandra, Carl John, Jacqueline, Christopher (Felicia), Michael (Nicole), Alexander (Harli); great-grandchildren Natasha, Grace, Lucas, Isla, Laila and Luke; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Elmer (Anne), Pat (Mildred), and Eugenia (Jack).


SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M., on Friday, June 1, 2018 in Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem. Calling hours will be on Thursday evening from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem, and again on Friday morning from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. in the church. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Church.
